About MangoMade

Mango is a South Korean floral designer & visual artist based in LA. With over 7 years of experience, she merges her passion for design and architecture with inspiration drawn from organic shapes in nature, movement, Korean folklore, and minimalism.

She has worked with many different faces including Tea at Shiloh, House of Aama, Betsey Johnson, Clarins, and more. Mango's travels to Europe and East Asia have also included great collaborations with other designers. Her work is a reflection of this blend resulting in structural and intentional works of floral design.

Objective

In this workshop, you will dive into the world of ikebana design, where the philosophy of minimalism and the strategic use of negative space become one. With a three-tiered design process and accompanying journal prompts, this workshop provides an immersive and meditative experience for all attendees.

Mango will guide you through each tier, fostering space for your creative expression. Each arrangement will bear its own identity, mirroring individual perspectives of each person. Whether you're new to floral design or a seasoned enthusiast, this workshop offers a supportive space for designing alongside peers.
