My name is Matias, founder of Häsi: Art is in Bread—a sourdough bakery based in Los Angeles. I started my business out of my home kitchen in 2018 baking my original Häsi loaf—wild fermented sourdough made with house milled grains, marbled blue (organic butterfly pea flower) and yellow (organic turmeric.) Since then, I can humbly say our business has grown further than I could have imagined. It’s been an incredible rollercoaster, adapting our business through Covid while developing our vision to Share the Loaf. At the end of the day, that's what it's all about.
