Join Evelyn Hernandez for a seaside ceramics workshop and make your own marbled vessels using a variety of recycled high-fired clays.

This immersive experience offers each participant a unique opportunity to jump into the world of pottery. Equipped with all the necessary tools, you'll get to mold and shape your very own clay sculptures using the finest local clays. This hands-on workshop is perfect for both beginners and seasoned artists alike.

Your artistic creations will be carefully collected and fired, transforming them into lasting pieces of art. These one-of-a-kind sculptures will be available for you to claim as your own, ready for pick up at the Usal Outdoor Recreation Center (ORC) a few weeks following the workshop.

• A short hike along the bluffs and onto a rocky shore.
• Welcome & introductions: clay sculpting demonstrations
• Time to sculpt in nature using a variety of clays or recycled clays
• Finished pieces will be collected for kiln firing and available for pick up after a few weeks
