GorpGirls is a collective specializing in showcasing women championing the outdoors. Together with LA GG representatives Rikki Ponce and Sydney Martinez, we look to bridge female led community through outdoor exploration, by organizing hikes and other exciting activities within California.

Objective

Join Gorp Girls for a Fall Night Hike to Echo Mountain, a 5.3-mile out-and-back trail near Altadena, California. This moderately challenging hike typically takes about 3 hours to complete and offers a unique nighttime experience with beautiful views of the surrounding area. Designed for outdoor enthusiasts of all levels, this event encourages women to come together and explore the trail after dark. The trail is popular year-round, and dogs are welcome on leashes. Bring a flashlight/headlamp (preferably with a red light) and suitable hiking gear, and be ready for a fun and safe night out in nature.
