Michael Washington is the founder of Usal Project. A dedicated runner and lover of all things outdoors, he is thrilled to bring the Usal community to NYC.
Join us at the Usal NYC Pop Up for a morning community 5K. All bodies, all paces welcomed. We will have multiple pace leaders to accommodate everyone. We will lead a run from our pop up in Soho to the west side highway and back. Refreshments provided by OEM, and there will be coffee at our shop for after run hangs! We are teaming up with our friends Freaks Of Nature for this run. Freaks of Nature is the first (!) skin health brand specifically formulated for athletes. Co-founded by pro surfer Kelly Slater, our mission is to create the most effective, science backed, and environmentally safe skincare out there. We’re relentless about sourcing minerals, bio-actives and natural ingredients that are well-researched, standardized, and efficacious because our priority is your skin, your wellbeing and that of mother nature. We will also be debuting the Usal run collection in collaboration with MILER Running. There will be a raffle where one lucky winner will receive the full kit!
