686 Field Test Series

In collaboration with 686 Technical Apparel, we organized a field test data series of outdoor workshops to test out the all new 686 Cruiser Pant. From outdoor climbing to cityscape photography, our community utilized the pant to create a feedback loop of sustained performance in the field.

Our first workshop took place at the one and only Stoney Point Park. While the Usal climbing community maneuvered through the park’s various problems in the Cruiser Pant, utilizing its progressive ripstop fabric for far reaching foot holds and grabs.

Our second workshop took place in Griffith Park, where we looked to get a feel for where the city meets the mountains, and to see how the Cruiser Pant stood up in both scenarios. Basing our efforts around the in and outs of outdoor photography, participants set off into the hills to get the perfect vantage point for dusk across LA. The Cruiser Pant held its own,  in terms of both style and function, and patrons left satisfied with their newfound understanding of how to bridge a visual story between city and sky.
