About Mohawk Wellness Collective

Mohawk wellness collective is the vision of Jacob Saldaña and Christopher Sullivan, to provide a space for social wellness on the eastside of LA. Providing wellness modalities and the communities around those tools to empower our neighbors and friends.

Jacob Saldana:

  • Personal Trainer and Performance Breath Coach. Jacob has been on an entrepenurial journey helping others lead healthier lifestyles through ventures like Space Bar Wellness, The Fit Bar Superfood Cafe, Anytime Fitness, and now, Mohawk Wellness Collective. My mission is to share tools for building resilient minds and bodies. I create experiences that inspire people to embrace a little discomfort and make meaningful change while connecting to community and having fun a long the way.

  • Christopher Sullivan: After a long career in creative design and advertising, Christopher began is wellness journey through immersing himself in Mycology and psychology, as the years progressed he moved into somatic healing and began his fitness journey building community in more heart centered processes. Now as a guide and coach in running, breath work, mycology and practical healing.

  • Objective

    We are excited to announce our first collaborative event with Mohawk Wellness! We aim to introduce our community to somatic recovery practices while creating connection among runners and athletes. This event offers a welcoming wellness experience featuring a communal sauna, cold plunge, and breathwork classes designed to support physical recovery and build community.

    What's included

    • 45-Minute Mindful Slow-Pace Run: A gentle, meditative run focused on breath and body awareness, suitable for all levels.
    • Guided Rounds in Sauna and Cold Plunge: Experience contrast therapy with alternating sessions in the sauna and cold plunge, promoting recovery and relaxation.
    • 20-Minute Guided Breathwork Session: Engage in a calming breathwork practice to deepen relaxation, boost focus, and enhance recovery.
    • 10-Minute Experience Sharing in Breathwork Session: Conclude with a shared reflection to connect with fellow participants and integrate the experience.
