In May, we collaborated with musical artist Ashnikko and local forager, Indy Officinalis to host a foraging hike and picnic in Elysian park. Indy, an ethomycologist, educator, and mushroom cultivator, led the group and taught about the species of plants, as well as their origins, uses and benefits. Participants were able to taste edible flowers and experience the flora of Los Angeles first-hand. 

The event concluded with a picnic curated by Sasha Emoniee. Food and herbs used for the meal were grown and sourced from Sasha's garden based in Los Angeles.
