About Eva

Eva (they/them) is a dedicated Bird watcher and enthusiast. Born and raised in CA, Eva's love of birds has opened the world for them, from learning about local history to realizing how the world is interconnected through a web of migration. With a wealth of knowledge and a passion for the natural world, they strive to create a welcoming space for anyone who has looked at a bird and wondered, "what bird is that??".

Objective

Join the LA Birding Club at Ballona Creek in Santa Mónica for some early birdwatching. Ballona creek is one of Los Angeles’ last freshwater creeks that flows into the ocean and is a special place to see freshwater, brackish, and ocean birds all within two miles of each other. Guide Eva will help find and identify birds along the walk and Binoculars, courtesy of our friends at Nocs Provisions, will be provided.
