About Paige Emery

Paige Emery is an artist, herbalist and plant dreamer exploring ways of remembering the Earth through conduits of catalytic ritual. Her work is interested in interweaving healing rituals and critical ecology, ancestral memory and embodied futurities, ecopoetics and socioenvironmental praxis. Stemming from a background in art, herbalism, ethnobotany, and environmental activism, Paige’s practice weaves a bridge between worlds to recalibrate our internal landscapes to our external landscapes. This takes shape through multitudes of entangled forms such as paintings alchemized from plants, healing plant rituals, music for rituals, performance lectures, guided ecology walks, site-specific land art installations, and sharing herbal medicine with her community.

Join us for a guided ecology walk with Paige Emery to get to know the local plants growing around the land we co-inhabit in embodied practice accompanied by a discussion on decolonizing relationships with plants and building conscious relationships of reverence and reciprocity with the land.
